A Personal Message from Director Steve Buzzard

Twenty-one seasons ago, Buzzardball began with one simple goal: create a basketball experience where every child feels encouraged, challenged, and valued.

While our league has grown tremendously over the years, that mission has never changed.

Whether your child is joining us for the very first time or returning for another season, thank you for trusting our staff with something incredibly important—your child.

Every season I watch something special happen.

• A shy kindergartner makes their first basket.

• A player who once struggled to dribble becomes one of our leaders.

• Former players return as coaches.

• Lifelong friendships begin.

Those moments remind me that basketball is simply the vehicle.

The real goal is helping young people grow in confidence, character, and teamwork. Life skills being learned.
