FAQ Series No. 6 * What Can Families Expect From Buzzardball Customer Service?

When families join a youth basketball league, they aren't just signing up for practices and games. They're trusting someone with a piece of their family's schedule, their child's experience, and ultimately their peace of mind.
At Buzzardball, I take that responsibility personally.
The big picture: Buzzardball is a one-man operation. When you have a question, concern, scheduling issue, or simply need some clarification, you have direct access to me — Steve Buzzard, the league director.
You Have Direct Access
There isn't a customer-service department or a call center between you and the person running the league.
When you text, call, or email Buzzardball, you're communicating directly with me.
I believe families deserve answers. Sometimes a quick response to a simple question can eliminate a lot of uncertainty.
Questions Are Always Welcome
No question is too big or too small.
Wondering which division is right for your child? Have a question about practices? Want to play with friends? Trying to understand Gold vs. Silver? Have a scheduling conflict?
Ask me.
I'd much rather have a family reach out and get the information they need than spend time wondering.
Flexibility Matters
Families are busy. Kids play multiple sports. Parents juggle work, school, practices, activities, vacations, and everything else life throws at them.
That's why flexibility has always been an important part of Buzzardball.
During registration, families can provide information about practice availability, friend requests, scheduling needs, and other circumstances. I can't promise that every request will be possible, but I will always do my best to find a solution.
That's especially important to me.
The league has structure, but the structure shouldn't prevent us from using common sense and working with families whenever possible.
Peace of Mind for Parents
My goal isn't simply to put teams on basketball courts.
I want parents to feel like they know what's happening, know who to contact, and know that someone will respond when they need help.
That means:
Clear communication
Quick responses
Direct access to the league director
Flexibility when circumstances allow
A willingness to answer questions
A personal approach to running the league
Those things are part of the Buzzardball experience just as much as practices, games, jerseys, officials, and championships.
