FAQ Series No. 4 * Buzzardball Games + Location Details

One of the most common questions I receive from families registering for the Buzzardball Winter Basketball League is:
Where will my child play their games — and what time will they play?
Here's a look at how Buzzardball game days work.
🏀 Four Buzzardball Game Locations
Buzzardball Winter League games are played at four Sacramento-area locations:
Sport Courts Fitness
Rio Americano High School
El Camino High School
John Barrett Middle School
Games are played on Sundays, typically beginning around 9:00 AM, with our final games scheduled for either 6:00 or 7:00 PM.
Important: These Times Are Based on the 2026 Season
The schedule below is not the finalized 2027 schedule.
It shows how our divisions were scheduled during the 2026 Buzzardball Winter League season.
The goal for 2027 is to keep our schedule as close to last year's format as possible.
That consistency helps families know approximately when and where their child is likely to play before the final schedule is released.

🏈 Playing Next Level Flag Football?
I know many Buzzardball families participate in multiple sports.
If your child is also playing Next Level Flag Football, please indicate that during registration.
I will do my very best to schedule your Buzzardball games accordingly.
I can't promise that every potential conflict can be eliminated, but knowing about it during registration gives me the best opportunity to make the schedule work.
The Big Picture
My goal is to make the Buzzardball Winter League as predictable and family-friendly as possible.
While the final 2027 schedule will depend on registration numbers, team counts and division sizes, the plan is to stay as close to the successful 2026 schedule as possible.
That's why I'm sharing this information now — so families can have a much better idea of what their winter Sundays could look like before registering.
