🏀 BUZZARDBALL FAQ NO. 2: How Does Buzzardball Form Teams?

One of the things that makes Buzzardball different: You have options.

When registering, families can choose:

👤 SOLO — We'll place your player on a team.

👥 FRIENDS — Register with friends and play together.

🏀 TEAM — Bring a group of 8–10 players.

HOW WE BUILD TEAMS: 

We use your registration choice along with the skill-level information provided during registration.

🎯 THE GOAL: 

Create balanced teams and give kids a fair, competitive and enjoyable basketball experience.

🆕 NEW THIS SEASON

3rd–8th Grade teams will be capped at 9 players.

Why? More playing time. More opportunities. Better experience.

Coaches can still request 10–12 players when needed to keep a friend group together.

K–2 teams: Capped at 10 players, with the option to carry up to 12.

The big picture: Whether your child comes alone, with a buddy or with an entire team, there's a place for them at Buzzardball.
