Buzzardball Playoffs – Sunday, March 8

• Games will begin at each team’s normal location

• Silver & Bronze Championships, along with games determining Golden 1 Center participants, will be played at Sport Courts Fitness later in the day

Below is the playoff format by division:

34-NBA GOLD (6 Teams)

• Top 2 seeds receive byes

• Play-In Round

  • 3 vs. 6 → winner plays #2 seed

  • 4 vs. 5 → winner plays #1 seed

34-NBA SILVER (10 Teams)

• Top 8 teams qualify for playoffs

• First Round

  • 1 vs. 8

  • 2 vs. 7

  • 3 vs. 6

  • 4 vs. 5

• Semifinals

  • 1/8 winner vs. 4/5 winner

  • 2/7 winner vs. 3/6 winner

• Consolation Game

  • 9 vs. 10

34-NBA BRONZE (7 Teams)

• Top 5 teams qualify for playoffs

• Play-In

  • 4 vs. 5

• Semifinals

  • 1 vs. 4/5 winner

  • 2 vs. 3

• Consolation Game

  • 6 vs. 7 (season-ending game)

56-NBA GOLD (4 Teams)

• All teams advance

• Semifinals

  • 1 vs. 4

  • 2 vs. 3

56-NBA SILVER (8 Teams)

• Top 4 teams play for the Silver Championship

• Bottom 4 teams play for the Consolation Championship

78-NBA GOLD (5 Teams)

• Play-In

  • 4 vs. 5

• Semifinals

  • 1 vs. 4/5 winner

  • 2 vs. 3

78-NBA SILVER (6 Teams)

• Top 2 seeds receive byes

• Play-In Round

  • 3 vs. 6 → winner plays #2 seed

  • 4 vs. 5 → winner plays #1 seed

34-WNBA (6 Teams)

• Top 4 teams advance to Final Four

• Seeds 5 & 6 play a Consolation Game on March 8

No. 4 Seed Option

• If the #4 seed chooses not to participate in the Final Four:

  • 5 vs. 6 winner plays #4 for the Silver Championship

  • #1 seed earns an automatic berth to Golden 1 Center

  • #2 vs. #3 play for the final Golden 1 Center spot

56-WNBA

At season’s end, the #4 seed may choose one of two paths:

1. Play-In Route

   • 4 vs. 5 play-in game

   • Semifinals: 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3

2. Consolation Route

   • #4 ends season with a consolation game vs. #5

   • #1 seed earns automatic Golden 1 Center berth

   • #2 vs. #3 play for the remaining Golden 1 Center spot

78-WNBA

• Dallas Wings have already secured their spot at Golden 1 Center

• Team will have the option to play on March 8
