  2. Points Allowed - Defense Wins Championships

Final Standings Notes + Standings Explanation

56-WNBA:

A first in Buzzardball history. We had three teams finish in a tie for first place. The Sparks, Aces, and Liberty each had a 6-2 record. Next tiebreaker was head-to-head. And wouldn't you know it. All three teams split against each other. The next tiebreaker was defense, which gave the Sparks the top seed followed by the Aces and Liberty.

By Wednesday:

A full recap of Sunday's games for the Boys and Girls will be available, featuring highlights, top games, and top performances from the week.

In the meantime, feel free to visit the 2026 Scoreboard on the Winter League Home Page. All scores are posted from the games played in 3rd-8th Grade. Also listed are the high scorers for each team.

Blowout Rule

In blowouts, the on-site scoreboard will only feature a 20-point lead. The same goes for posting the scores. The actual score will only be reflected in the standings, with statistics kept for the kids and point totals used for any tiebreakers that occur.

After Week 3:

  • 78-NBA and 56-NBA will move to a Gold + Silver Division.

  • 34-NBA Gold and 34-NBA Silver will have some movement both ways. Ultimately, we will have a Gold, Silver, and Bronze Division for the rest of the season.

  • Note - there will be some teams in the 34-NBA Gold that will move to Silver and vice versa. Stay tuned.
